I make every holder in Hungary in small batches from carefully selected solid oak. I sand the wood by hand, gently round the edges and finish the surface with clear Remmers Hard Wax Oil. This brings out the natural character of the oak and gives the wood a smooth, pleasant feel. Grain and colour vary slightly from piece to piece, so no two holders are exactly alike.
